There are many places to search for recipes out there, starting from books and going as far as social networks, regie is here to find the right one for you by focusing on the ingredients, understanding the relationship between them, what combinations are the best and more just because we believe the best recipe starts from the right mixture of ingredients.
The app measures the connection strength between different ingredients by extracting Data Analytics from millions of recipes while taking into account different properties like origin, likingness, complexity, and others which resolves in suggesting the best recipe that fits the user's taste - just as making a wish to a genie

The user research process was firstly based on learning different and existing experiences offered by the network when it comes to recipe search. Many of the major websites and many blogs that exist rely on keyword searches or specific food descriptions that the user wants to prepare and search for their recipe.
But what happens when we don't have a specific dish in our mind and just a bunch of ingredients we're curious about,
what can come out of it?
The Regie platform learns a users preference over time and then offers them recipes accordingly.
As a search engine portal for recipes, The product maintains simplicity. Through the user experience, it enriches the user about the culinary connections between the various ingredients, enabling him to exact the search result to the most relevant for him.
It was important for us to keep things simple, to present the site as a useful and effective place to achieve the main purpose of the user - find his ideal recipe. That insight follows through all of the user experience of the site.
As another tool on the user's journey to his ideal meal, we aimed to be useful. The main propose of the user is to find a recipe that fits his needs, we build the search process to be user friendly and exact to the specific user and his taste (also in the technical side of the project at the backend)
The eye of the user familiar with the structure of a recipe, almost as an old archetype. We wanted to keep this structure and to highlight the main elements the user firstly searches and checking out on a recipe. Another purpose was to keep some elements "living", like Pictures of dishes that other users have uploaded from the same recipe, the ability to add comments, etc..
